Abstract

Based on the model of a rigid-plastic body a mathematical model of suppressing explosion load energy using poly-metallic plane barriers is developed allowing for the effects of rotation inertia, strengthening and viscoplastic resistance of the materials. A problem on the rational distribution of materials in the barrier, providing a minimum degree of residual damage, is formulated. The specific calculations made show that it is possible to change the residual form of the bending in a wide range due to the material redistribution in the plane barrier.
