Editor Responsibilities

The Members of Journal’s Editorial Team are recognized experts in the field of applied mechanics of deformable systems and media, who ensure a high level of compliance with ethical principles. The editors together with the publisher will immediately respond to all claims regarding the reviewed or published manuscripts. If a conflict situation is identified, the editors will take all necessary measures to restore violated rights in accordance with the principles of publishing ethics.

Making decisions

- The editor-in-chief of the Journal appoints reviewers for the article and makes the final decision on whether or not to publish the reviewed article. When making decision concerning the publishing, the editor of the Journal guides by the reliability of the presentation of data and by the scientific importance of the work in question.

Impartiality

- The editor assesses the intellectual content of manuscripts independent of the race, sex, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, origin, citizenship, social status or political preferences of the authors.

Confidentiality

- Unpublished data obtained from manuscripts submitted for publishing will not be used for personal purposes or handed over to third persons without a written permission from the author. The information or ideas obtained in the process of reviewing and connected with potential advantage will be kept confidential and not used for deriving personal advantage.

Copyright

- The editor editor does not admit to publication any information if there is enough evidence to consider it plagiarism, or if research misconduct has been revealed.

Credibility

- The editors of the Journal are always ready to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies when necessary. The Editorial Board of the Journal reserves the right to edit the text followed by the coordination with the authors. Any corrections are made in accordance with the retraction recommendations of the International Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
