Abstract
The paper deals with numerically investigating the processes of elasto-viscoplastic deformation of cap-shaped specimens loaded in tension in the strain-rate range of 102 s-1 to evaluate strain rates and values implemented in the experiments on dynamic failure of structural materials on a vertical gas-gun stand.
