EFFECT OF THE GAP IN THE SUPPORT UPON THE VIBRATION CHARACTERISTICS OF A PIPELINE

Abstract
In a numerical experiment using the software package RANT-1, vibrational excitation of a pipeline having a support with a gap is studied. The effect of the gap size upon the dynamic characteristics of the pipeline is considered. Conditions for effective operation of the supports in question are formulated.
