FEATURES OF THE CALCULATION CYCLIC CRACK RESISTANCE OF THIN-WALLED STRUCTURES WITH RESIDUAL DEFORMATIONS

Abstract

Performed an analysis of influence on the rate of fatigue cracks growth of various factors which associated with the presence of residual strains in the structure in the form of a local shape distortion. Presented the results of experimental study of growth of fatigue cracks in aluminum alloys under tension with a bend, after preliminary plastic deformation, in the presence of residual stresses from plastic bending. Proposed computational models which allows to account for the effects of the considered factors on the rate of crack growth. The comparison of experimental data with the calculated results of the resource plate with stiffeners with residual deformations.
