Abstract
The results of the analysis of the dynamic state of finite porous-elastic bodies on the basis of the boundary element method are presented. A benchmark problem is used to demonstrate the potential of the boundary element methodology in obtaining a solution of a boundary-value dynamic problem having an analytical solution. The numerical study of Rayleigh waves in a porous-elastic halfspace is given as an example.
