OPTIMAL STAMP SHAPE UNDER PROBABILISTIC DATA CONCERNING EXTERNAL LOADING

Abstract

The problems of a rigid stamp shape optimization are investigated taking into account the interaction of the stamp with an elastic medium. The external forces applied to the elastic medium are considered as random values having given statistic characteristics. The optimal shapes are found for the stamps having circular shape in plan.
